SETXStages KIDmunity Jesters camp concludes with their performance!

KIDmunity is a tradition at SETX Stages. Camps for 4th grade through graduated seniors, and a special needs inclusion camp, give young actors all over Southeast Texas the opportunity to shine! InterACT: For students ages 8+. Special needs inclusion camp. Run in conjunction with the Department of Speech & Hearing Sciences at Lamar University, under the direction of Dr. Karen Whisenhunt Saar, this theater immersion program puts students in a friendly, engaging, and low-stress environment. They’ll learn fundamental principles of theater, music, and dance, in a way that encourages social and emotional learning in a supportive way. When they perform at the end of camp for their friends, and family, it is one of the best parts of the summer!

KIDmunity Troupe Presents: Little Shop of Horrors

BOTH Camp, designed by show creator Mark Wilson, is designed specifically for adults (including senior adults and those with limited mobility). Morning, afternoon, and evening sessions provide flexibility for busy schedules! Camp days combine rehearsals, classes, and workshops for every level of experience. You can commit to as much or as little as your activity level and schedule allow, and provide a positive and encouraging atmosphere to learn a new skill or practice old ones!

Camp Meets August 10 through August 29, with three performances on August 28 and 29.

White Linen Night is our signature fundraising event that transforms the theatre into a vibrant celebration of local art and community. Guests are invited to wear their summer whites and enjoy an evening filled with live music, art displays, food, drinks, and unique experiences.
